Books & Prints Now Available!
For anyone interested in cosplaying my Zelda BotW design, these files might help! This download includes both a drawing of the back, as well as .EPS and .SVG vector downloads of the original applique/embroidery pattern pieces, for easy transfer to a cricut, stencil, or embroidery design program. Also included are some fabric suggestions and design notes!
I've decided to take a crack at creating some cosplay designs that are open use, and the first one that came together was Zelda from Breath of the Wild! I typically only see original designs of her gowns, so I thought a couture version of her adventuring outfit from Breath of the Wild 1 and 2 would be a fun take! I originally drew this as a BotW 2 cosplay, but also added in a long-haired version for BotW 1.
She's open to cosplay and no permission is required - the only condition is that you credit and tag me in any future posts! (and especially tag on IG; it's really easy to miss mentions sometimes and I definitely want to see if anyone ends up making her!)
Welcome, everyone! We are Cowbutt Crunchies Cosplay, and we're so excited to finally bring you a project we've been working on for the past two years! We're long-time cosplayers who dabble in everything from ballgowns to electronics, but many people know us for our elaborate, larger than life wigwork. Tutorials and cosplay education is a huge part of who we are, and many cosplayers have asked how they too can create these sorts of wigs. We've uploaded many tutorials over the years, but finally we've been able to compile the core techniques that we use into a single book so that ambitious cosplayers can embark on their own extreme projects.
Want even more wig goodness? Check out our social media sites for more tutorials and progress, and especially our charity patreon at https://www.patreon.com/cowbuttcrunchies for additional walkthroughs and 1 on 1 help.
