The big cosplay sale is here! Costumes orders can be combined with books, enamel pins, stickers, and other merch!
Looking for an uber cheap set of funky cosplays for you and your crew? These are gjinka designs of the four poe sisters from Majora's Mask, designed by CaroWaro and recreated with permission from the artist! Very fluffy, easy to wear, and great if you have a group of Zelda fans.
Dresses. All four dresses are constructed from layers of different colored poly chiffon that has been dip dyed into black, tulle, and netting, but were made by four different people and were constructed in four different equally bizarre ways. These are older costumes and each person handled the unusual design construction and giant fluffy draping differently. All chiffon is roll hemmed or french hemmed, but the internal cleanliness is sloppy and they are not lined, and a lot of the chiffon fraying was left as-is to be extra "spooky". However the outside is very striking! Please do check the measurements, as most of these were not made with stretch in mind and are as a result may be difficult to pull over the widest part of your body.
Meg (purple): Neck and waist do not stretch and max out around 29-30". You can wiggle into this with larger shoulder measurements, but it's a tight fit (was made for 36"x29"x42")
Amy (green): This dress is the stretchiest, as the waistband is tacked to a piece of elastic, and the neckhole maxes out around 36". Originally made for 36"x30"x36", but could fit a bit larger.
Beth (blue): Waist fits a 31" or smaller; the top zips up the back and is fairly small, around 34". Includes wristlet chiffon pieces that slide on over the arms.
Joe (red): The smallest outfit, but the waistband attaches with hook and eyes that could be removed and extended. The chiffon top overlay is a separate piece also attached with hook and eyes.
Boot cover leggings and armsocks. All homemade, made from different types of black stretch spandex. The leggings function as bootcovers and are intended to be worn over a pair of heels. Four leggings and THREE armsocks are included; I sadly do not know where the fourth went. However black armsocks are now commercially available from various websites.
Wigs, Headpieces, and accessories:
Meg (purple): Foamcore wig, constructed from an Epic Cosplay wig in vanilla fusion. Chains have been hot glued into place, and usually require re-arranging before wear. Jewel circlet is attached to an elastic band and is worn under the wig.
Amy (green): Epic Cosplay wig, with a foam band and tulle stitched on.
Beth (blue): Foam headpiece sits on top of the head, and is secured to an elastic around the chin. This is showing signs of cracking.
Joe (red): Unknown brand wig with straw glued to the top. Be aware that some of this sheds when removed from the bag.
Torches are resin-cast for lighter weight, with colored cellophane glued in. This includes the green and the purple torches, as I'm not sure where the others are.
Welcome, everyone! We are Cowbutt Crunchies Cosplay, and we're so excited to finally bring you a project we've been working on for the past two years! We're long-time cosplayers who dabble in everything from ballgowns to electronics, but many people know us for our elaborate, larger than life wigwork. Tutorials and cosplay education is a huge part of who we are, and many cosplayers have asked how they too can create these sorts of wigs. We've uploaded many tutorials over the years, but finally we've been able to compile the core techniques that we use into a single book so that ambitious cosplayers can embark on their own extreme projects.
Want even more wig goodness? Check out our social media sites for more tutorials and progress, and especially our charity patreon at https://www.patreon.com/cowbuttcrunchies for additional walkthroughs and 1 on 1 help.
